These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Absolutely task management platform (the "Platform") by home service professionals ("HSPs", "you", "your"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use the Platform

The Platform is intended for licensed and insured home service professionals — including trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, handyman, cleaning, landscaping, and related services — who operate a legitimate business and are legally able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining any licenses, certifications, and insurance required in your jurisdiction to perform the work you manage through the Platform.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate business information during sign up and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and team members you invite.
You must keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Free access period

The Platform is currently offered free of charge for a limited introductory period. We may end, extend, or modify the free access period at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before introducing paid plans, and you will not be automatically charged without your explicit consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading activity.
Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
Use the Platform to send unsolicited marketing or spam to your customers.

5. Your content and customer data

You retain ownership of the jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, notes, and customer records you enter into the Platform ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect and share any customer data you enter, and for complying with all applicable data protection laws in your dealings with your customers.

6. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. The Platform is not a substitute for professional judgement — you remain fully responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the work you perform for your customers.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or pose a risk to other users. On termination, you may request an export of Your Content within a reasonable period.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
