Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 2026
Absolutely is committed to making our task management platform usable by every home service professional, including those who rely on assistive technology. Many HSPs use the Platform from the field on phones and tablets, often with gloves on, in bright sunlight, or in loud environments — accessibility helps everyone.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This shapes how we design colour contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states, form labels, and alternative text across the Platform.
What we do
- Design with high contrast between text and background so job details stay readable outdoors.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus states throughout the app.
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes so screen readers can announce content correctly.
- Provide meaningful alt text for images and icons that convey information.
- Ensure tap targets on mobile are large enough for on-site use.
- Test with real assistive technologies including VoiceOver, TalkBack, and NVDA.
Known limitations
Some third-party integrations embedded in the Platform (for example, mapping or payment widgets) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We continue to work with our providers to close these gaps.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using the Platform, we want to hear about it. Please email hello@getabsolutely.com with a description of the problem, the page you were on, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
